Opening hours

The museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10.00 – 17.00h.

On 19 April, the Grote Sael will be closed from 14:45h due to an event.

On Thursday 2 May the museum is closed at 16:00h.

With a valid ticket, you have access to the museum and shop. There are workstations in all rooms where you can work and study during opening hours. The Rare Book Rooms are accessible by appointment only.

Route:
By public transport: From Amsterdam Central Station, Tram 17 and then get off at the Westermarkt stop (total travel time 13 minutes). And then walk to Keizersgracht 123.

Guided tours
We offer personal general tours. There are also regular themed tours, such as on the Grail artwork by Rachel Ritman, or on the history of the House with the Heads by Jozef Ritman. For these thematic tours, you can check our event schedule here.
