The Embassy of the Free Mind processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you have provided these data to us yourself.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
The Embassy of the Free Mind processes your personal data for the following purposes:
-Handling your payment
-Sending our newsletters and/or advertising leaflets
-To call or e-mail you when necessary to be able to perform our services
-To deliver goods and services to you
Automated decision making
The Embassy of the Free Mind does not make decisions on the basis of automated processing on matters that can have (considerable) consequences for individuals. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems without human interaction (for example, an employee of the Embassy of the Free Mind).
For how long do we store personal information
The Embassy of the Free Mind does not store your personal information longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the goals for which your data are collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:
-General: max. 2 years after termination of our cooperation / having unsubscribed from our newsletter
-For relations with whom we have conducted financial transactions: 7 years after the last transaction.
Sharing of personal data with third parties
The Embassy of the Free Mind only provides information to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or in order to comply with a legal obligation.
Cookies, or similar techniques used by us
You can unsubscribe from cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously stored in the settings of your browser.

Viewing, modifying or deleting data
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by the Embassy of the Free Mind, if any, and you have the right to data transferability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal details we have of you in a computer file to you or to another organisation you have mentioned.
In order to be sure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to send us a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and other personal data. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
The Embassy of the Free Mind would also like to point out that you have the option of lodging a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Personal Data Authority.
